NROC Network is a community of educators, administrators, technologists, and designers working together to develop high-quality, online content and instruction. The Network addresses the common need among educational institutions for quality online content and professional development of faculty and staff.

There are three types of NROC Network memberships: Institution Memberships for individual schools or educational organizations, Consortium Memberships for schools that join as part of a group, and System Memberships for school districts and systems.

Institution Membership

The NROC Network relies on the contributions of the members to the community. In-kind contributions are encouraged and the value of those contributions may be applied to the $25,000 two-year membership fee, reducing it substantially. In-kind contributions may include high-quality online courses that may be included in NROC, supplemental course content, authorship of collaboratively developed content, as well as white papers, research, or webinars hosted at the Network website.

Consortium Membership

A group of schools can join the NROC Network as a consortium and drastically reduce their annual membership fees. Membership fees are based on the FTE of each school where small schools (less than 3,000 FTE’s) pay annual fees as low as $3,000.

System Membership

Systems with multiple schools enjoy substantial discounts in annual membership fees. System memberships are for a centrally hosted server and CMS application. The fee is calculated by the number of servers hosting the content.
